Hydraulic CouplingHydraulic couplings are used to mount the engine to pump. In a hydraulic coupling, a pair of forces of equal magnitude are exerted in parallel but opposite directions and cause rotation. The working technology of the hydraulic couplings ensures a long working life with lower operating cost and long lasting leak-tightness.

They may have features of with synthetic rubber inserts between the coupling halves. The high performance hydraulic couplings are handy and posses high tolerance to temperature. The reliable and robust construction of the couplings offer greater efficiency and make them easy to use.

Flexible Drive Coupling

Technical Data

Drive coupling consists of two steel gear hubs engaging in a sleeve of high grade plastic material. This material has superior strength and wide operating temperature range. The gears have crowned tooth from which, permits axial and angular misalignment. The couplings have undergone extensive testing under severe load conditions. They are easy to assemble & require no maintenance or lubrication and no transmission noise.

Assembly Procedure

The couplings have a maximum permissible angular misalignment 1.5 degrees. It should be ensured that the coupling hubs fit easily on the shaft. No undue force should be used. Gap should be maintained between hubs and grub screws to locate gear hubs on their respective shafts, should be used. For shock load applications, the following formula should be used:

Rating / 100RPM of coulping = Hp of application x 100 x F
