A
hoist is an apparatus used for lifting heavy or cumbersome objects.
Hydraulic hoists have a multitude of applications for washing,
lubrication and maintenance etc. in service stations. They are
hydraulically operated with oil pressurized by compressed air. The
hoists can lift heavy items in and out with and are designed to be
employed using all types of hydraulic circuits found on hydraulic
machinery such as excavators, drill rigs, etc. The other applications of the hydraulic hoists can be in public works applications where they can be fitted at the end of a hydraulic vehicle crane. In tunneling where they can be easily integrated into a hydraulic system for segment setting. In mining as they can be mounted on monorails, fitted behind loco-tractors, and as general material handling tools in underground or civil operations.
