Fundamental Feature of Hydraulic Systems
One of the most fundamental feature of hydraulic systems is its nature to apply force or torque multiplication in a simplified way. It stands independent of the distance between the input and output, omitting the use of mechanical gears or levers. A hydraulic machine works in two ways: one, by changing the effective areas in two connected cylinders; two by making an effective displacement (cc/rev) between a motor and a pump. The generated power is transfered through small tubes and flexible hoses, making the actuators use the power to perform work.
