Straightening Process Description :
The highly skilled operator manually loads the part into the Straightening Press and clamps the part in centers (or rollers) and than that part is rotated which measure the straightening by using dial indicators. When the high point is rotated up than the operator press down the hand lever which gets the part down causing the part to flex. Using fine stroke adjustment, depth of the stroke is aligned on hand lever. After each and every stroke, dial indicator shows the straightness of the part so that operator can increment the depth of stroke until the straightness is within tolerance range. Repetition of the process occurs at operator determined points to achieve the specified straightness orTIR (Total Indicated Runout).

Bull Dozer :
Bull dozer is a heavy-duty machine that integrates the basic design of a large gap press placed on its back. Behind the cylinder, power pack is provided and the throat area & stroke lengths can be sizeable. Main benefit of bull dozer is the power to handle work that is lent into the press from overhead.

Applications :

• Extensively used in different Straightening operations like straightening of four wheel drive, axles, machine ways, screws, rifle barrels, precision shafts, gears and bars
• Straightening, bending & punching of plate & structural shapes (I beams, Rails & Bars)
• Also used for forming hoops, rings and large irregular shapes due to the relatively unrestricted die area
• Grounded and used for heat treatments, transmission shafts and drive train components such as pinions, cam shafts & crank shaft
