SANTEC group also known as the fluid power, introduces new series of Laboratory Press & Mixing Mill integrated with all latest features and technology. Especially designed to test different materials for R&D, our pressing and mixing mill make less noise, require minimum floor space and less maintenance.


Salient Features in Laboratory Type Compression Molding Presses :

Our press is perfect for molding rubber & plastic sheets used in laboratory tests due to following reasons :

• To assure uniformness in temperature, specially heating system is fabricated and provided
• For accurate temperature measurements, press is provided with Digital PID Controllers - FUJI ( Japan )
• Additional facility of PLC with display unit, which makes it user friendly and easy to operate
• Better alignment due to 4-Pillard type construction
• Can also be used for molding small series of rubber & plastic parts for mass production
• Structure can work in all three shifts
• Structure of press is encompassed with all sides except front side, where a safety photoguard is fixed for operator's safety and for loading and unloading of mold
• Provided with automatic press control device used for scheduling an automatic production cycle by putting in upto 5 degassing cycles and curing time for molding. In the end press automatically opens and a beeper signals the end of the cycle.

Standard Items :
Some of the standard items that are included in our laboratory press are electric motor, photo safety guard (Sick Germany), tower light, PID type temperature controllers, LVDT (Potentiometer) controlled ram movement, front light for operator's convenience, two hand push button operation, emergency push button, pressure setting through PLC, mould bank records in PLC and PLC with display (4 Lines).

Optional Items :
Along with standard items, some of them are optional which includes data-logger, PLC with touch screen display (MMI), heating platens fitted with water, recirculation CCT for the molding of thermoplastic materials, vacuum arrangement, variable displacement pump and middle core pullers. Salient Features in Laboratory Type Two Roll Mixing Mill :
Having many years of experience, SANTEC presents compact machine known for following features :

• Surface temperature deviations can occur with ± 2 degree cel
• Bearings lubed with Auto-lubrication system
• Require less space requirement
• Provided with built-in driving unit
• Facility of 6 pole electric motor that uses circular type reducer which provides lowest noise level
• For facilitating automatic stopping of machine an emergency safety device by a knee pedal is rendered which modify the rolls to be reversed for about 11A of the circumferences
• Provided with roll mill which prevents two rolls from touching each other during operation
• As compared to traditional bronze guide bars in this, material guide plate made up of teflon is heat and acidic resistant and will not harm the rolls
• On request Electrical heating system is provided. Maximum working temperature is upto 240 degree
• Rolls are hard chrome plated grounds and polished with surface hardness of around 60HRC or above (approx. 1.5mm) and roughness height of around 0.5cm
• Roll Bearings are in the form of double row taper self aligning bearings and offer sheeting thickness to 0.12mm
• For specialized heating systems, precise temperature controllers are provided.
• For electric heating, precise automatic temperature controller and specially fabricated temperature sensors are used with exact reading of working temperature which allow tolerance of ± 2 degree celsius
