Construction Features:
- COMPACT CONSTURCTION
Reduction gear unit either V-Belt drive or direct coupled or
Redicon / Elecon /Imported worm reduction /helical / installed on
the common base plate. Drive motor placed on the base. No foundation
required.
- BASE
Steel fabricated common mono built rigid base plate. No foundation
required.
- ROLLS
Chilled cast Indian/Imported rolls. Barrel surface hardness 470-550
+/-20 BHN. Faces and journals are grooved. Rolls with bored internal
chambers and equipped with distributing pipes for cooling water
circulation. It is also provided a tray for water drainage. Rotary
joints can be provided optionally.
- ROLL JOURNAL BEARING BLOCK/BUSH LINER
Heavy duty rigid cast iron casted in one single piece. Special
phosphorous bronze bushes of right thickness equipped with grooves
for oil circulation.
- ROLL NIP ADJUSTMENT
Nip roll setting is adjusted manually. Worm gear / motorized nip
roll adjustment can be provided optionally.
- SAFETY DEVICE
Overhead safety cardle bar is provided to switch off the main motor
at the time of emergency. Chest Safety bar or with the provision of
thrystal brake to immediate stop revolution of the mill with the
provision of reversing on inching switch with the electric operation
panel to auto reverse the revolution of the mill can be supplied
optionally.
- LUBRICATION
As per standard, we supply Glass Feed Lubrication from lab Model to
16" x 42" and Forcefeed Lubrication from 18" x 48"
to 26" x 84". Force-feed lubrications in place of
Glassfeed luburication with return line can be supplied optionally.

- GUIDE PLATE
- Graded C.I. casted totally enclosed roll guides to prevent entry
of foreign particles into bushes.
- CONNECTION GEARS
As per standard supply, we provide, T.E.F.C. A/c induction motors
of reputed make ie. ABB/Siemens as per the availability in the
market. Any other specific requirement can be provided optionally.
- GEAR GUARDS & STOCK PAN
Both friction and bull gears are provided with totally enclosed
welded steel guards with oil reservoir and a mill stock pan.
